I think it’s worth highlighting that the girl playing M3gan is a state gymnast with a brown belt in karate, and she’s only 10. The head of M3gan is a prosthetic but the physical performance is all her own. It’s a really good performance, and a really good film.

This reminds me of the experiment that was done years ago on Twitter where AI was given an account and for 24 hours it learnt and created a online persona which to no one’s surprised became quite nasty and eventually started to quite Hitler.

I really enjoyed this today. A great script and really well done, I was very pleasantly surprised. Made me think and laugh a few times too.

I assumed from the trailers it was Child's Play, Mark's review seems to suggest it's more original Robocop with it's consumerist satire though which makes it sound rather more interesting to me.

For the sake of humanity more people should follow Marks lead and stay away from social media .

I really liked it. There were moments of tenderness which take you by surprise. As well as the musical elements to it.

I really liked this one. It does everything you expect it to do but with a nice edge of satire and also at heart quite an effecting story about loss and parenting. Gotta be said that the young girl who plays M3GAN gives a terrific physical performance. Surprisingly good.

Why would the clip have to be removed, I would have thought the studio would appreciate the publicity.

I watched the trailer nervously thinking, "Oh... I hope this is meant to be funny, " and what a relief that it is.

Really entertaining movie. Well made. I’m glad they’re making a sequel.

There's also an emotional honesty to the Cady character and her experience and the way she attaches to M3GAN as a form of distraction instead of coping which I found really surprising and somewhat moving.

After seeing the advertisements and thinking it looked like a terrible gimmicky January movie, I’m so genuinely surprised by how much praise it is getting.

I'm only curious in how long this series is going to last. Will it have the legs like "Child's Play" to go across multiple sequels, or will the yuk factor die down when it's more expected for the sequel and thus, faltering there.

Nice shout out to Chuck E, who’s actually Chuck E. Weiss, good friend of Tom Waits.

I love how the film really doesnt make you feel worried about M3gan, , as it will be way out of reach ( cost wise ), but i love the very last scene with there version of Alexa etc, , , now thats what we should already be worried about, as these gadgets are already in ALOT of homes, watching and listening be afraid, ,, be very afraid

Reminds me of an 80s Wes Craven film called Deadly Friend.

I’ve seen the trailers, and am genuinely baffled at those calling it a horror film. Looks to be straight up sci-fi to me, in the Terminator vein (first two movies anyway). Sure, there will be blood- but there was in T1, T2, Robocop…
