He played in an era when strikers got almost no protection from the referees, he got kicked so many times, brutally most of them. But he would always stand on his feet again. Today, the so called primadonas, you touch them and they lay on the ground like spoiled kids. I am grateful I grew up in the 80’s and watched him play.
