The Ultimate Workstation Desk Build | Too many monitors?

Tired of being limited by two monitors and a laptop, I - Matt Swider, TechRadar Managing Editor - show you how to build the ultimate workstation and answer this question: how many monitors are too many? Six. Six is the answer. But I went for it anyway.

In this battlestation build, I used a Mac Pro 2013 because it has six mini DisplayPort outs on one graphics card, with six mini DisplayPort to Display port cables running to six Dell U2417H monitors. These are superb Ultrasharp 24-inch Infinity Edge monitors are important because they take up less space than border-heavy 24-inch monitors due to having very little bezel – my co-workers to my left and right can't complain about my workstation crossing into their desk space. My workflow remains unmatched at TechRadar.

I have a 42" TV mounted on the wall (connected to a laptop), a 24" monitor on portrait (connected to a laptop) and four 24" monitors connected to a desktop PC where I do most of my browsing. It's an ideal setup for me except I need a little bit more desk space for my keyboards, tablets and coffee mug/s

Display port allows you to daisy chain monitors too. So a single port of the PC can drive 6 screens, less cable mess too.

How to activate my fifth screen for GTX 980 + 3 port DP MST hub on one of my GTX 980 ports.?
All the 5 screens are up and running. It got recognized by my WIN10 Display Settings and Device Manager. But, cannot active the fifth screen. And if I activated it, it'll close one of my monitors and vice versa. I've tried to make a combination plugs with all the 5 ports, still facing the same issue.

I have two of those Mac Pro but it complains if my monitors are 37”. I’ve been really frustrated. I don’t see why the size of the monitor matters. Right now I have a 40” and 86” tv using one Mac Pro

I have mac pro 2013 Trashcan and 3 LG ultrawide monitor that just have 2 hdmi input port.
When i connect to thunderbolt port on my mac device, just 2 of monitor give me video signal and third monitor do not turning on.
What can i do 😢 ?

I have 6 x 27GL850 on individual mount wall rack, very hard to put them all equale, this will be a nice option, You should show the back, how long are the arms how can we ajust to have a 120 angle .
