FYI, the Scout (69ci - 1133cc) was always a 6 speed since its inception, the Scout 60 (60 ci - 999cc) is a 5 speed.

You should have mentioned you're familiar with Indian when I went off on my Scout bobber info dump 😂 If we ever cross paths again I'll let you try mine out. Got the RW HP up from 100hp at 8k rpm to 121 at 6.5k rpm. Plus some adjustments to the riding, and it handles much more like a sport bike than a mid size cruiser when stock. Btw, they are 6 gears. Since you seem to prefer sport bikes, check out the Indian FTR Sport. It's of the standard naked variety. They are definitely a fun ride.
