The officer used to buy hay from him.  So I guess he got tired of paying for it and decided to steal it!  What a piece of work!

his big mistake was waiting for the sheriff's office to do something. he should have just gotten a lawyer and filed a lawsuit against the deputy AND the sheriff's dept. WTF, the guy was in uniform!!!

Shouldn't the level of accountability for that particular theif be much higher considering the position he is entrusted to? Maybe the way you would want additional justice if you caught a firstgrade teacher molesting your kid.

Sheriff claimed he had permission to pay later and passed a polygraph test, so no charges were filed. He was suspended for 100 hours, costing him >$2, 000.00 in salary.

He needs to be put in jail so he can post bond until he has a trial.. He should not be able to work for the department unless he is found innocent.

The blatant attitude and intitlement of Police along with their internal affairs protection has created an out of control problem that is beyond repair.
