The kind of impact the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation is having is fantastic - actual human lives are saved in the tens of thousands... hundreds of thousands... maybe millions! I smile now when I remember being anti Microsoft as a teenager :p

Hi Bill, thank you very much for your youtube- channel. I admire, that you have accomplished to change the world in so many ways! Sharing and promoting good ideas on a global basis is great. So I would like to give you a personal opinion and feedback on how you could make your videos better for someone like me (and maybe for other people as well). I have noticed, that I find it not so easy to listen and watch your videos (alltough I am a youtube-lover and I consume tons of videos to educate myself).
Your videos are highly professional and maybe perfect and ideal for Americans. But I am from Germany, so I am not a native speaker and so is the rest of the world. For me it would be much better, if three things would be changed. A) the music should be more subtle. In my opinion it should be complettly cut out, because it distracts and it makes it difficult to listen to what you say. B) The animations are beautiful and lovely to look at, but very quick and hard to follow. C) In general the videos should be longer. Yes, everybody says „Time is money“ or  „Youtube-videos should be short, because the attention span is very short…!“
Well, I look at it in a different way. I would love to hear your thoughts longer and in more depth and detail. I really, really enjoy listening to intelligent people over a longer period of time.
I understand that stylish features and quick cuts are important these days, but at the end of the day, I believe substance is more important than style.
So here is my request. Make your videos less „fancy“ and more personal. The good thing about youtube is that it doesn´t have to be perfect. In fact I like this direct fashion and this „honest“ way to communicate. Tai Lopez is an example for a youtube-star who talks about books in this manner. Even though he interacts with his audience with no professional lighting, camerateam, etc., he is a joy to listen to, - except when he tries to pitch and sell his products! I assume that this won´t be a problem with you. The audience will benefit from your thoughts and will be more open to your point of view. Why? Because they will probably feel that what you say is free of any commercial intentions. As you are one of the richest persons walking the planet, you have the liberty to express yourself freely and people will listen.
I know, you are a very busy guy, so I don´t expect a reply.
It would be great if you would think of my suggestions. I believe the world would like to see you making authentic selfie-videos without knickknack in the future.

I like the books and I like the video but the music/narration mix is all wrong. There are sections where the music overpowers Bill's voice. Really people watch this video to hear Bill talk. Well, I do. No need for that music but if you must add it because video school added that checkbox item, please tone it down so it doesn't take center stage. Thanks for the recommendations, regardless of the music track :)
