A skater in Japan said to do a gnarly heelflip, your shoulders have to be on top of the skateboard at all times so when you crouch your hips move back, your knees move forward and your body moves straight down. I called BS on it but when I tried it, I landed it first try. And he then did a heelflip over a traffic cone. So that's the best advice I had for heelflips.

Your foot doesn't have to hanng off the I do mine in the stance of an ollie basically with my toe still on the bored and about a inch of the bored showing. I keep my foot perfectly horizontal and use my heel to hit or slide up to the pocket and I can double heel. But when I switch heel I do it aarons way so its all about prefrence. I'm 24 and I skated from like 10 to 16 then quit ( I was pretty good when I quit) then I just started 4 months ago. In the first day I was landing a whole buch of tricks I like neve lost my kickflips and switchflips but it was AARON WHO GOT ME BACK INTO SKATING. THANKS MAN AND YOUR SKATE SURRPORT VIEDOES HELP ME A LOT. I wish I had youtube growing up....we all had to teach ourselfs the tricks now you can just go watch a how to viedo....we used to sloww motion the skate viedoes. I was the first one to land kickflips out of my friends and I tell you what there is nothign better than learning a trick on a tricks start oit feeling impossible but wit hard work and dedicatio. You land it and it always feels so good. THANKS FOR THE ALL THE HELP AARON

lean forword slightly with either upper or lower body i dont rememder but its up then down fast dont bend and think on it just ready shoulders then jump

Does anyone else not actually hang their toe over the board for heelflips or is it just me? I find them so much easier to do without hanging your toe over the edge.
