Malcolm T Elliott dies 4BK Brisbane 2UW 2UE 2GB

Australian DJ worked at lots of stations. Died in Aug 2019. This is a sample of his style at 4BK Brisbane in 1973. It includes 3 songs from early 73 from Daniel Boone, Maureen McGovern and Stealers Wheel. He later went to 2UW in Sydney and did a live London broadcast of the wedding of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips in November 1973 which was relayed to rival Brisbane station 4BC and other stations around Australia. It's all in the video.

That 4BK 1974 music chart brought back some memories (0:42). Looks like Max Rowley standing to the far right at 0:48 mark. Malcolm certainly had the "gift of the gab" when he was at 2UW, should have been selling used cars on Parramatta Road! He was a real character.

Sad news about Malcolm T Elliott passing away. I remember hearing him on 2UW in Sydney. I wasn't aware that he was on 4BK. Thanks for sharing. Incidentally, I actually visited Brisbane in August 1973. I remember the 4BK identification theme very well.
