Nice video. Glad you ordered yours straight away. I waited an extra day to order, and now have to wait another 6 weeks. Thanks again for your impressions of Push 3. I’ll hang on to my Maschine+ for now, but we’ll see.

I love the first video because it helped as a tutorial for when mine arrives

A note on arrangement, you can actually record to the timeline, you just won’t be able to see it until you transfer the live set to your computer. This was shown on loopop’s video. He also transfers a demo project that has no session clips and just an arrangement timeline onto the push 3 and it plays on the push 3 in standalone mode.

I have my Push 3 on the way! Are you going to keep your Force? I have already put my Force on Reverb.

For me, having a standalone MPE drum machine almost feels like it’s what Roger Linn was working on coming to fruition. Not only that but full MPE synth engines built in, sequencing capabilities etc. It’s not perfect but it feels more like the next step into the future of music instrumentation. I hear people complaining about “where are the beats?” Well, you can do beats on this but you are seriously wasting its potential and capabilities. Is it for everyone? No. Is it perfect? No...but it’s a step in the right direction.

I hope they make an arrangement view available in standalone eventually

Glad that once the frustrating part of loading the packs was over that there now seems to be significantly less headaches!

Do you know if it’s possible to use send fx in standalone?

Also, can you print fx automation in standalone? Like if you messed w/ the feedback of the delay, could you include the resulting chaos as part of the loop/clip?

That’s sort of crazy no arranger mode, I think it’s geared towards live performances no full version of Ableton either 2k i don’t know.

Wonderful, very measured overview. Much appreciated but also not appreciated because now I HAVE TO save up $2K to cop this 😂

Also my guy. That beat at the end??…fire!! So sick. I’m amazed that it’s possible to not only make but arrange all that on a standalone 💯🔥🔥

Curious about the quality of the larger knobs that Push 2 doesn’t have.

Can you plug a guitar or Bass into the interface and let us know your thoughts on the sound quality?

Have you tested the midi sync with other devices?

you can simply move prefects started on push to your computer over wi-fi - so no stems, but the entire project will show up, instead of recording live into your daw

12:47 yeah that’s one thing @Ableton needs a better arrangement of sounds. It’s to much to go thru. They need some genre tabs or something. I’ve used Ableton since 2012 and never a stock drum kits only pre organized drum packs

6:09 MPE takes some practice... MPE can be unforgiving and requires skill to use effectively. Thankfully you can tune the "Sensitivity" of the MPE features on these pads to minimize unintended pitch or modulation changes during play.
