It makes sense. Post-episode 9 is an absolutely clean slate. It could be 5 years later, or 5000 years later, and you are able to respect what has come before without intertwining with it

I still maintain that the stories in Visions will be like the stories we tell that we consider to be Legends but some believe may be in fact true. Like the Legend of King Arthur, The Treasure of the Knights Templar, Mulan, Robin Hood etc.

I understand why people are disappointed by there being no Star Wars game news, but honestly? I'd rather them not show anything if they have nothing to show than force out an announcement for something that could then be cancelled shortly after or something like that.

RE: EA and SW game news… they did say “show” so hopefully there could at least be some mentions as to what’s going on. Some confirmations and such. Not holding my breath but would be nice. Also the word celebrate makes me think there will be some better news at celebration next year.

My head canon assigns all of the non-canon stuff to stories told in holodramas on the Galactic Holonet.

I think Disney troubled themselves to rename the EU as “Legends” for a reason, and this could be it.

The idea of “Legends” is actually canon; The Legend of Luke Skywalker. The EU may not be truly dead and detached from canon, after all.

As a huge SW fan, I’m continually blown away by how overly simplistic some fans can be based on the things they react so strongly to. This whole “Visions should be canon so BOO” thing is weird. It’s not hard. Even in real life, there are legends about the past and then there are the narratives that are evidence based and as close of an account of actual lived events as we can get based on the historical record and corroborating stories. So in real life we have “legends” and historical “canon”. Just because Lucasfilm said the new films and stories will have a clearly defined canon does t mean that they can’t ALSO get in the business of officially releasing new legends. I mean “Myths and Fables” were clearly in universe legends, and no one (well) tripped. So now there’s “visions” which uses a name that clearly implies there’s some imagination, creativity, and enVISIONing happening when telling these stories. Yay. Now moving on… I think what’s really happening with some films is that they’re unhappy about X and they want others to be unhappy too. And that seems weird when you supposedly are a fan of something.

In the Barnes & Noble: High Republic panel, Charles Soule stated that there would be High Republic news/announcements made in July. I'm guessing it'll be right before/during the High Republic Show coming out next week.

I honestly think the "canon" comment by Lucasfilm are about the stories not tying into pre-existing stories but not completely untrue aka not canon to the Star Wars.

I feel that "The Mandalorian" deserves any Emmy Awards that it might receive. I am waiting with great anticipation for the "Kenobi" series and the "Ahsoka" series.

Really? I did saw the trailer in The Twins that the Stormtrooper Helmets looked like Imperial Stormtroopers than First Order Stormtroopers. I don't know if the Sister managed to find some Galactic Empire Armor to use it for the Remnants of the First Order or she might have lead the Remnants of the Empire similar to like Moff Gideon did?

Since this was mentioned that The Twins takes place after The Rise of Skywalker, I definitely do hope that the Brother might ask Rey for help or meet her and maybe have Daisy Ridley along with the other Sequel Trilogy casts to Dub the character as Reprise as Minor Characters.
