Thanks for the great advice! I'm with you, losing the weight isn't the issue, but keeping it off is HARD. I lost 83 pounds in 2018 but gained it all back. I like how you say, "keep it simple". Meat, veg, butter. I'm restarting again but I'm determined to make it my lifestyle choice.

I keep watching you because you are beautiful people. I started keto in March '20. Found you soon after. You were so real and so supportive and fun. Very encouraging! I dropped 50 pounds over 2 years. Also dropped my A1C by a whole point. Went from pre-diabetic to the low end of normal. I've been maintaining ever since. Thank you for what you do!

Channels like yours are what help keep me in ketosis, simply because keeping off the weight is easier if your not bored with your meals. Keep up the fantastic content!

45 lbs this year without hardly thinking about it. Obsessing about food-diet is an addiction. Keto lifestyle, keeping it simple, cures the addiction.

Important point: You will be on maintenance a lot longer than you will be losing weight. That made me realize why we all enjoy your test kitchen KETO adventures so much. Maintenance is harder to "endure" if there is no variety after the weight loss success. That is what your videos address.... keeping maintenance interesting. I hope I summed it up correctly. Thanks for all you do! Happy New Year!

Outstanding content! You’ve helped me stay on track for almost 2 yrs now.
I’m down 97 lbs.
It’s truly a lifestyle rather than a diet.
Like you, my body requires less food/calories than when I was 242lbs.
So at this point, it’s about our mindset rather than focusing on losing weight.
The fact that we know we have to eat like this from now on is very empowering.
I’m learning a workable maintenance phase. It’s a different journey now so I will watch for more of your content on maintenance.
Thanks ladies! 💕👏👍

I fluctuate between 5-10 lbs. and I’m very ok with that. I’ve lost a total of 100 lbs in a year and your “technically keto” works best for me now.

Great advice! Meat, veg butter....so much more 'fun' than counting / calculating macros. Thank you for showing me to just "eat simply".

I have lost 140 pounds on keto. For me weighing myself daily has been my success at keeping my weight off. By weighing daily I can see if the scale is going up five pounds and I can put a stop to the regain and get that weight back off. Your subscribers should give it a try and keep the weight written down on a calendar.

I believe that the way you do it by being relaxed about it and not obsessing about weight is the best way to keep it off. I will have to get one of your tee shirts. 😊. I lost 30 pounds quickly at the beginning of my journey. But then it became a struggle to lose the last 10. Now I focus on my health and how I feel. So like you I’m clean keto sometimes and dirty keto other times. I don’t feel deprived at all which makes it a sustainable lifestyle for me. Love your recipes also and your reviews of them. You are getting closer to your 175k subscriber goal. 😁. Great advice!

I started keto years ago for the same reason to loose weight. I stayed on it for a good 3 years. I felt great and looked great but then I started throwing carbs back in the mix and eventually just started eating trash again. Now I'm pregnant and I have gestational diabetes and I have something so much more important to do this for then how I look. I dont even want to think about sugar right now I just want to be healthy and I want my baby healthy and that is my motivation now.

I don't watch because I want to lose weight. I watch because I have insulin dependent diabetes and am always interested in new low carb recipes that I can modify to meet the needs of my condition. Love you guys.

Just found your channel today and subscribed. I am on Keto for the health benefits. I did not need the weight loss and now I need to gain weight back. Your recipes offer options to try to gain weight without going off keto 😊

Very informative video and helpful! Thank you Ladies! I have been counting calories lower carb. I have lost 33 pounds, but I haven't lost any more weight for a few months now. I am 68. I think I will try keeping it simple. Right now I weigh 214, just losing the weight I have I feel so much better than I did. I just want to feel better and to be able to move around better. I really enjoyed this video and all the other ones. You both are very inspiring ! ❤️

Bravo! Key word... BALANCE! That way a person doesn't over or under eat or become to restrictive and deprive themselves of "desert" so to speak. Real Life isn't restrictive it's a give and take of having fun vs being serious and has to be BALANCED! 👍🏽👍🏽

I find it less stressful to shop and eat clean and simply… minimal seasonings and substitutes, short list of grocery items. The creative stuff look like eye candy but I can only do it occasionally 😊 At the end… simple ends up nourishing, satiating. Very very true… balance… and know what it takes to stay on track. Research says we put on average 1-2 lbs a year as we age. So it takes work to keep it in check.

OMG I really needed this today. I'm 22 months on keto, or as I think it, low net carb. It's xmas, so it is so hard not to eat the high carb xmas food, especially when a friend makes the best xmas cake and rocky road for you as a gift. A friend who knows I don't eat that So, I had a little and today I've gone back to simple and gave most of the "gift" to others who are not keto. Thanks, perfect timing, before the scales blow out.

Thanks for this video. I started keto in 2015. Lost 40 pounds in 5 months and kept it off for about 3 years. Then I slowly went back to my old habits. Have gained 30 back. I really think that watching your videos has inspired me to try again! You both are amazing!!

Wise words, as always, ladies! The one thing I would add is, the older you are, the longer the weight loss portion of the journey takes (for me it was about a year and a half, I started in January 2020, at age 59)… but the principle remains the same, the weight loss part is the “short” part, maintenance is for the rest of your life… but maybe it’s actually a benefit if the weight loss part takes longer, because the longer it takes, the more likely you are to have gone through the mental shift needed to come to grips with the need to watch the carbs forever! Anyways, Happy Boxing Day today, and I look forward to more fun content in 2024!

Due to a recent diabetes diagnosis, I had to go healthy keto. From you, I have tons of white flour alternatives and fruit that I can live with. lost around 45 lbs. and blood sugars and blood pressure is dropping. I still cant find a "perfect" alternative to hash browns and French fries) so I do without, but love how i look and feel. Thanks a bunch.
