After the crisis of Apollo 24 had been averted, despite the loss of astronauts Harrison Liu and Deke Slayton, Ellen Waverly replaces Ed Baldwin as the lone astronaut at Jamestown, the latter clocking in 100 plus days on his first mission at the base. A press conference is held after Ed burns for the Earth.

I've enjoyed Joel Kinnaman's work over the years but I feel he's really knocked it out of the park with For All Mankind. Credit to the direction and editing of this shot too. 2:16 The grief of losing your child whilst you're not even on the planet. I'm not religious but I pray for any parent who has to experience the loss of a child. Having lost my Dad when I was young, I'm sure he would have preferred any day of the week that he go before I do. To experience the reverse would be pain beyond belief.

The clip of Aleida's wonderful papa so unfairly sent back to Mexico, comparing modern immigrant caravans to the wagon trains in the 19th century... and Aleida, forced to grow up quickly to make her own way in the United States, on her own. Very powerful. "So yes, yes. I think it's worth it."

The Hypergolic fuels produce an almost transparent flame.
The exhaust also comes out a right angle to the bell (because there is no back pressure to constrain it).
