I did this for my winter formal at school 😂. The thing is, though, the pocket was the same color as the actual jacket, so it just looked as if I had just pulled out the pocket (which I had lol).

I sew my own suits and I do use white cotton for my chest pocket linings exactly so that I can do this.

You know, I always thought that's what those things sticking out of suit pockets were before I learned about pocket squares. I thought people were just pulling out the pocket of the suit for some reason and making it look like that.

A friend of my father always had a perfectly matched pocket square to every tie he one day he showed me his trick...
He never unbuttoned his jacket and would simply cut the end off his tie and used it as a pocket square

I just do this i don't even use pocket square. This just efficient and i nobody has caught me yet so i am gonna continue doing that 😂😂
