It sounds to me like it's the consistently repetitive nature and shared awareness of it between strangers that's the remarkable element. I've taken LSD a number of times in my life, and never once have I seen the same thing twice. Apart from the underlying fluid sensation that accompanies the experience, they've each been unique unto themselves, as well as entirely self-contained. Nobody I've ever shared the experience with ever saw something even remotely similar to what my brain was conveying to me personally.

All possibilities aside, this sounds like a perfectly exciting phenomenon. Not sure I'd ever have the nerve to try DMT, but I'm so thrilled to be alive during these times in which these potentialities are being discussed.

This whole conversation sounds like one guy, who’s eaten a ghost pepper, saying, “ghost peppers are hotter than bell peppers.”

And another guy, who’s never eaten a ghost pepper, arguing, “ghost peppers are the same thing as bell peppers.”

What a nice dude. Really enjoyed this conversation. Good you did the earlier video to arrive here. I do like how things seem to work out.

The key point in the interview is when they discuss the example of the white square. The host describes how the white square can morph into different types of objects under the influence of DMT. The claim the other guy is making is that the code does not morph or change in the same way other hallucinations do, it's consistent across doses, and actually stands out in its consistency in contrast to the morphing hallucinations around it. I don't know if it's true or not but I agree with him that the only way to verify it is by trying the experiment for onesself. It's a simple point and it seems the host has trouble grasping it.

If you can't write and analyze the code, it will remain a novelty. That's the bottom floor. I don't doubt he sees something consistent and relevant, but in the end he's observing data instead of retrieving data. First see if you can reproduce what you see in a tangible way, and - barring abject failure - gather a group of participants to do the same. Bring in relevant analysts to sift through the data and play puzzlemaster. I see a lot of people who are quick to manufacture these flashy idea profiles which seem to get left behind like election posters on the shoulder of the highway of thoughts. The sad part about this is how many ideas would have possibly been of value if taken to the mat.

I greatly appreciate your refusal to do the same even after many invitations to apply that logical fallacy. Your logic is sound. Keep it up. Rob, as you said, when we are experiencing these visual phenomenon, our brains are in a psychedelic state where we perceive that something "exotic" is occuring. Sub breakthrough DMT can make me feel like I'm a bowl of cornflakes. I don't go about my life questioning wether I am a Kellog's cornflake 😆

I'm glad he took your rebuttal in good humour. I agree that we shouldn't make psychedelic induced claims about the nature of reality. When I vape DMT, my cork pin board 📌 looks like an otherworldly portal into a 3D cork dimension. There are many localised, isolated visual effects that occur on DMT. Dan seems to be reaching conclusions and pushing his theory into philosophical territory, without much to go on.

Rob why not try the laser experiment? This would have been a better critique if you could mention what your results were under the same protocol. Lets compare apples with apples.
