"both satellites were built on the same platform, a satellite buss from Boeing."

OOF! There's no way, right?

The Raptor beside the Raptor 3 in 09:29 in the horizontal test stand seems to have a deformed nozzle/bell. Is it possible that thats an engine from Booster 12 undergoing post-flight testing?

It’s about time Russia updated their crew capsule. Glad to see they’re finally doing that.

21:20 "that's just words..." lol loved that. So true when you can't comprehend something.

6:18 That's an interesting ring formation in the exhaust plume during that engine shutdown.

thanks for covering other space companies and not just spacex. spacex is extremely interesting to watch, but sometimes that means we dont get to see what other space programs are doing.

interesting trick on New Glen having only 3 engines that gimbal. This saves some weight on actuators and pipework.
I wonder if spacex would ever do this on falcon 9 maybe have 2 or 3 engines either side that are fixed. Just a rough guess is that the gimbal actuators, pipework and shielding add 100kg per engine so you looking at a weight saving of about 500kg - not a lot but there are also savings on parts and assembly and maybe even better reliability from doing that.
Probably would require having the 2 or 3 fixed engines on either side angled so the others have enough gimbal clearance.
So there are probably still ways to improve falcon 9 even more - the last change i think of was the stage 2 short nozzle saving the cost and mass of a full size nozzle.
Another possible trick would be non folding grid fins like starship - maybe get a little more air resistance but saves some complexity and weight on actuators and these fins could be used as aerodynamic control surfaces on ascent.

NSF is FAST becoming my new "go to" YT channel for all space news.
The usual ones are just copying/pasting same info and just wording it differently whereas NSF are quickly offering new info & not just from the "big Jeff 😔

Thank you
