Guadalest is a stunning town up in the mountains close to Benidorm. It's one of the oldest towns in Spain, full of history, museums, bars, restaurants and beautiful scenary. We like to visit at least once a year (but usually end up there more often because when family visit they want to go too!). If you've never been it really is worth a visit if you're in the area. It's only a 30 minute drive from Benidorm and there are lots of organised bus trip to get you there and back. Watch our visit and see if you fancy a trip! Enjoy!!

If you think the roads up to Guadalest are a bit challenging then do not think about going any further north on this road - the journey up from Benidorm is a walk in the park by comparison..

Nice adventure, not many people have covered the lakes in Spain obviously because the superb coast line takes a precedence but they are interesting to learn about. Just look at the colour of that lake wow. Nice one and good commentary from both of you. A thumbs up from us.
