This is the second video I've seen of yours. Now I'm a subscriber. Thank you so much for explaining the differences between the two of them. You make it easy so understand and you're quite knowledgeable. ☺️

Thankyou for the information. I was wondering if the beads of tourmaline are the real deal in bracelets...they are super smooth and without any cracks... How can we identify real tourmaline in beads ?

Are there any crystals or stones that closely resemble black tourmaline? I had purchased a pendant of raw black tourmaline off Amazon, but it looked very dry, for lack of a better descriptor. It has the long striations but no cracks or veins like you mentioned. I was worried I just got a lump of coal from China.

I can't believe how heavy it is. Until I had seen your video, I thought I had a piece of coal. It's a med to small piece that is about 3 inches square. It also is med to low quality from what your video shows. Thank you so much for the information. I do believe I found it near the train tracks where many coal trains go by. Would that be common? Falling off a coal load that is?

Thank you for a very informative video. I just purchased a log of black tourmaline and wanted to make sure it was real. Blessings from Texas. 🙏🏻😇🙏🏻

I have a piece I'm not sure whether it's tourmaline. It's kind of crumbly, but looks a lot like that. I've heard it's magnetic, but I've touched it with a magnet but I haven't felt any force. Can it not be magnetic at all?

Can it also have a small amount of red? I have a polished stone with the fissures, but a little bit of red in the cracks.

I bought a black tourmaline necklace and pendant from Etsy. I did a scratch test on the back of the pendant. it scratched easily. I also tested it with a magnet. It is not magnetic. Is it fake?

I did a burn test to check if my black tourmaline was real. Ik had a black smoke and I could easy break off a piece from it. It also had black chalky color on my hands. Does it mean that it's fake? 😢

I've seen a lot of jewlery stating that it's back tourmoline (but heat treated). They do not have the fissures. I'm wondering if they are other stones or if the heat treatments even out the fishers for a smooth surface? Does anyone know?
