Why I'm Quitting Moho

I'm seriously considering quitting using this software as it has become unusable due to crashes, I really hope the developers fix the issue

Working on a huge project currently and every time I try to delete a specific layer the whole thing crashes.

I had that annoying problem then I disabled GPU in preferences and it stopped crashing. Go to Edit > Preferences and un check "Enable GPU".

hello. Tried to write this on moho forum but without luck. I have a great problem with gradients. When I apply it to a shape it's ok. But when i move the character the gradient stays and also it looks like it has it's own bounding box. When i move my character to the left or right of the screen the gradient turns into a solid color usually white. If you have a solution for this please share. Thanks in advance

Also... I'm an animation student at Kent. My professors say not to ever animate on a laptop and don't use any processor lower than a quad core i7 with 32GB of RAM. If I were u I would try and buy more RAM for your computer and consider building a nice desktop with a hexacore i7 and 32GB of RAM. That way you'll be able to go all out with Moho.

+LDNSYNS Digital Media Please Don't be discouraged, join the lost marble forum online and address it to the Moho/animestudio community and some one will definitely contact you. On YouTube some of the members lost marble have channels here are some of them. Taza triste...McCoy Buck....incredible tutorials. You do amazing work and I believe that ASP/Moho is a great software. I'm still learning but their software support is very good and at smithmicro they really listen to their customers so please give this a try.

I have found that with a 64 bit computer with dual core . . . Moho 12 crashes when I use the 64 bit version . . . It does not crash when I use the 32 bit version . . . So I have just become accustomed to using the 32 bit version . . .

As another Moho user I know this is not a general issue. I sugest you to unistall your Moho a reinstall, also maybe try to update your Windows, Moho (the last update has to be downloaded manual if you dint do it yet), Video Driver. If nothing work try the 32 bit version, and as others tell you try to contact support also, hope it worked for you. PD: I never got to use ASP 11 and Moho 12 in the same machine, they tell me it cold not be done, but I know some peopple worked in this way but if not try to install in another pc.

I think that if u can somehow run mojo on FreeBSD (instead of Windows) and make it so that Unix isn't running any other processes other than the GUI then u should be able to run it flawlessly without crashing. U can easily install that on your computer. The problem is that someone would need to port Moho/Anime Studio to Unix in order for that to work.

What are your PC specs? I never had this issue before. My specs are quite high though I just think Moho isn't that optimized and it uses a lot more resources then it says it does or it doesn't know how to utilize your PC.

I have the same issues. It's cool to have new and better features, but it's all a waste if the program crashes on you so much. I've been using anime studio ever since version 5 and I gotta say, I'm very disappointed with 12. I get the feeling the devs said "F*** it"

honestly from what i see you need to unsintall anime studio and reinstall moho pro. I do recommend have a separate machine with moho pro installed only instead of multiple application installed also running windows 8.1 or higher

Anime Studio pro 11.2 is more stable than Moho 12.2. That why i only use Anime Studio 11, unfortunately i've pay 200$ for Moho 12. I totally regret my choice
