Finally someone who has COOL music instead of the same old retread theme songs so many others use. This is the second sling shot video I've ever seen, first by accident and now I want to get into sling shotting. It looks like fun and the sling shot community seem like a friendly bunch. EDIT : Sud'd and bought the Scout LT !

Hi Tater from the Piedmont! Excellent video. I chose the Simple Shot Scout LT as my first Slingshot as an adult. Can do OTT, TTF even looped bands. Attach via flip clips or wrap and tuck. Palm swells with scales or remove scales to make flat for the pocket. Pinch grip or thumb supported. Fairly wide forks. Gave me the chance to try all the major options. I agree with you excellent selection for my first slingshot.
Now that I have been shooting for a while, I'm trying other Simple Shot models. So far the Axiom Champ (small and flat) to carry in my Haversack in case I need food in an emergency. And the Seljan Slant Roller. Which feels great in my hand (X-Large Glove Size) with the pinch grip and still small for pocket carry.
Simple Shot has such a great variety of frames and videos for help. They have made me a customer for life.

I’m new to this hobby(sport) and I’m 72. At first I bought a couple of cheap Chinese flat band sling shots and I was hooked. After a month I decided to get a good slingshot and I got a ScoutXT. After two months of practice I am good enough to hunt rabbits, pigeons and squirrels. I used to hunt with compound bows but my shoulders can’t take it anymore. This hobby(sport) should take me into my eighty’s.

A lot of reviewers sleep on it but I love love love my Hammer XT and would, without batting an eyelash, recommend it to anyone wanting to start shooting slingshots. It feels fantastic in the hand and is a very stable platform (even without the brace). Not pocketable at all but accurately gets my steel to its destination. Also, its made in the good ol' USA 🇺🇸 Great choices brother!

No doubt the scout lt is my favorite production frame on the market and I doubt anyone will ever do better. Except maybe Nathan himself. I can't wait until he does the axiom and champ with clips.

When a kid my dad got me one like the metal Y frames you have. I got a Saturday job when older. Friends had the Black Widow. So I got the one a bit more expensive the Scalemead Jungle Hunter. I always dreamed of owning a Diablo, the one with the weights. I’m starting to realise that you guy’s that are serious about it. Use ones more like my original. Do you think I would get more accuracy and practicality out of the basic Y frame. Is it just marketing to get us to part with more cash the fancy ones. I’m 48 and disabled from a motorbike crash. Looked at getting back into air rifles but I don’t think the clubs will let me join due to my epilepsy. So think slingshots are the way forward. Used to be a good shot, so thinking if I could get my eye back in. They will do the job of an air rifle when it comes to filling the pot with Rabbit or target practice. I’m in northern England and since trump messed with trade tariffs. I paid 3 times more than the hat, in customs charges. When I ordered from the States, so haven’t bought anything from the States since. So as much as I would like to buy one of yours I don’t think the charges justify it. I use 3 slingshots on a regular basis. Scout, Ocularus and a Torque. (Gotta have a couple of loaners for friends.) Zero "need" for anything else. It'd just be straight up collecting at that point.

For the the material and price ratio, it's not for beginners at all! maybe buy those chinese or vietnamese slingshots, to feel if you can squeeze the activity to your daily schedule, then buy the extra money saved for some catch box and eye wear protection.

Down the road you will eventually need to buy your own tools to make your own slingshot, cause you'll just keep getting curious if there's a better slingshot for you.

i started training with sparrow slingshot and bought new hydra ott and started shooting frameless so i can carry only band everywhere😂

I have a question I've not found yet. Does a different color frame have any impact or bearing on lining up the target/aiming? Like red would not be good for shooting a red target. What about other options.

I have the scout lt in green and black scales and it’s absolutely a beast !!
