Watching her makes me wish I could have played college hoops. Only the smaller, private (expensive) colleges had a women's basketball program back when I graduated from high school. But, had I gone to a larger high school back then...even tho it was Iowa...I wouldn't have even had the chance to play in Jr. High and high school, as only the smallest schools had a program for women back then. I wanted to run track, too, but our school didn't have a women's track program 'til the year after I graduated. So, when I hear about women on pro teams doing the waaa-waaaa thing about their pay, it really galls me!! Dang it, at least they're getting to play!!

Her long range wasn't falling last night, so she went to the rim what seemed like 10-12 times. First quarter, I wondered if they had a plan to feed Stuelke over and over. Stuelke played well, making a decent number of free throws. Stuelke is talented and they'll need her for Iowa to make another run. Marshall was accurate last night. Soft hands from the other centers, too, and from the ref when Clark zinged when over to him on a dead ball.
