This is a prime example of the risks posed by the implementation of AI. When you have the framework and planning for AI being laid out by guys who have made their livelihood from financial derivatives (translated as "have taken advantage of the system without adding any actual value to society"), they either won't or cannot see the loss of human dignity that will be the actual fruits of the AI that they hope to capitalize on. Intelligent people, but not necessarily ethical and wise.
