Kara Frederick believes that the next major steps that should be taken to reel in Big Tech is to focus on data privacy for users, and to demand further transparency from Big Tech companies about their content moderation practices and their algorithms. Frederick says that more big government agencies is not necessarily the solution to combatting the threat to freedoms posed by Big Tech, instead proposing that transparency in "plain, clear English terms" will give people the ability to make their own decisions and hold Big Tech accountable.
