Corporal Lindenman served with the 35th Division, 137 Infantry and landed on Omaha Beach during the Normandy Invasion of France in 1944. Jack received the Bronze Star for his meritorious service 22 August, 1944. Jack and his wife Betty were both my friends.

The 137th landed on Omaha beach one month after the D-Day landings. The whole beachhead was already secured and didn’t encounter any kind of enemy resistance on the beach. They first saw action more inland at St-Lo.

Another great video, thank you. I noticed on the first picture shown it had Wichita, Kansas on it. Is he from Wichita? My wife is from there and I lived there for 16 years.
