Great video. I was actually looking for a video of this great station and I found it. Thank you so much. It looks like a beautiful station with those high ceilings. It looks rather quiet. Do those Uber drivers speak English?

A good video but a few pointers if i may: most of the counter staff speak little to no English and frankly are not inclined to help anyone who doesn’t have a basic command of either Russian or Ukrainian. If you can’t book tickets online, I’d recommend speaking to the staff at the small tourist information office just to the left inside the entrance - they’re very helpful and will help write out your requirements to present to the counter staff to buy your tickets to get past the language barrier.

Secondly the parade leading up to the Railway station and the environs around the main building are one of the few places in Lviv where I get a bit edgy in Lviv, there is a higher proportion of drunks, beggars, gypsy children there that give the place an edge where it pays to be very aware of your surroundings. Also be aware if you use the station at night time or arrive in the early hours, the waiting room areas are used by homeless people for shelter especially in the winter months.

Just started watching, and will say that when I arrived to Lviv from Kyiv, I used the ladies’ room in the train station, and it was awful. The toilet in the train was much nicer! Otherwise I loved Lviv and can’t wait to get back there.

Fond memories of Lviv train station. A young lady passenger from another city basically booked my ticket to Kyiv after I realised the babushka at the ticket window wouldn't speak a word of English. The following day, while awaiting my train, an elderly gentleman befriended me in the free waiting room, bought me a drink, shared food and gestured for me to accompany him to the toilet and drop our trousers 😂 Declined that one

Were you able to get around the vac certificate for boarding, or you do PCR tests?
