I've worked with quite a few famous musicians and as this is one of my very favorite songs, (by Leonard Cohen), I've listened to just about every cover I could find. Since it's cover by k.d Lang in a live concert not one has come close.
This cover by Emily I have to say is right up there as my new number one. What an amazing gift you have thank you for sharing it. Your piano accompaniment is flawless and your voice in parts the emotion of all the many meanings the song they have to each person explicitly to the bone. I hope everyone who hears this shares it with their social media platforms because you deserve to be heard around the world.
