Ok at least you get other perks as well (photos and faster food) though I'm usually not interested in ride photos... the park I'm usually visiting multiple times a year is the Europapark in Rust (Germany, close to the French border, highly recommend this one btw) where the reservation of fast passes through the app is completely free. However, I do like that you can book a slot on multiple rides at once. in the Europapark you can't book multiple fast passes at once. Only one can be active at a time.

Thanks Disney Dad!!! You are a wealth of knowledge. I am planning a trip next February for my twins 5th birthday. It will be mine and my three kids first time. We're going with my husband and his parents. They have all been before but this will be a totally new experience for all of us. I am looking to maximize time and money and make this seriously magical and a trip to remember.

Great video. Reading the comments and replies answered most of my questions. We have teenagers that may want to take off on their own so knowing they can take the maxpass with them is great to know. Now it's just planning the week in the park.

Totally worth it in February! Haha the park is much less crowded in Feb so it makes getting on rides MUCH FASTER!!

There's really no excuse for Disney Land charging the same entry price as Disney World yet charging extra for Fast Pass functionality that is free with a DW ticket. It already lacks the size of DW and now its extorting its guests too. Sucks.

Hi, very informative your video, i have a couple of questions jaja I´m going to disneyland next january, with a group of 6 persons (6 with me), can i add that 5 persons to my max pass (of course, everyone is buying the max pass) and when i do my maxpass the other 5 persons get into, like a family maxpass jaja and i just can do 9 max pass in the day? Adding on to this video, MaxPass isn't for everyone. When I go alone (free tickets!), I never use MP. There's plenty of rides with single rider lines, so there's really no need for MP. If you're in a large group, it might not be advisable to buy MP unless there's a lot of kids due to the cost. Something that I normally do in groups with no kids is to have one person buy MP just for the photos, and just walk to Fastpass kiosks.

How many fast pass rides can you book at one time? Example upon purchasing when arriving to the park, can I book space mountain and another ride? Or is it only one ride every 1.5hrs? Thank you

I’m headed to Disneyland with two older teenagers as well as smaller children and other family members. There will be times when we ride rides together and there will be times when my two older sons will want to take off and do their own thing. How does this work with max pass? Can I have everything linked on my phone for when we want to ride together and then can they have their tickets linked to their own phones for when they want to ride separately?

you can NOT use the app for all rides, just the ones with Fast Pass.

You can't book any ride anywhere in the park. Only Fastpass rides

I'm looking at buying disneyland tickets online and it says that the MaxPass is $30 per person/per day now? Did they just change this?

I feel like you shouldn't be able to buy your way to the front of the line. The program should be free for everyone or shouldn't exist, end of story.
