I have the same model installed recently. A careful reading of the manual indicates the fan is triggered when the temperature reaches 88 degrees (or higher) Fahrenheit and shuts off when the temperature reaches 77 degrees (or below) Fahrenheit. Refer to page 11 of the manual.

BIG QUESTION? We are told down south not to have any top ridge or off ridge vents near the Attic Fan, because it will just pull air from the closet vent and not the soffit vents which is where we want to pull from to make air circulation

Hello. I am thinking of getting the same model attic fan installed in my home that is 1448 ft.² does this have a built-in humidity gauge that will work in the winter if it gets moist in the attic? Or does it only work to get rid of the heat in the summer?
