I'm loving this engine very much, especially the fact that I can go inside the base code and make changes to rendering, as well as observe it and look at how everything works on the basic level.

the one thing that only recently blew my mind is that the cinematic video isn't actually animated, it's realtime.
I was like 'What's soo good looking about this? animation movies have been looking like this for years" But then i realised this ran at 30fps realtime, instead of 0.0001 fps with weeks of rendering in movies..

Came back to watch this after the UE5 Trailer that dropped today. Can't believe it's been 5 years since they gave UE4 away and I was blown away by the trailer

No freaking way... That is AWESOME. I've been messing around with UDK for a while, and now I'm going to jump ship to Unreal Engine 4. Plus, I have a Titan X en route to my doorstep... Really freaking excited right now!!!

I'm really glad that Unreal Engine took on the VR integration and got the Foliage systems looking great...

Can't wait to get me an Oculus and a PrioVR and start building some virtual awesomeness here.

This video made my decision on what I shall be using once I get some VR equipment (I currently use Unity3D)
