'Vividism' by Konx-om-Pax and Spoek Mathambo

To celebrate Mandela Day on July 18th, The Space and Connect ZA have co-commissioned three new moving image artworks from six emerging, South African and British visual artists, animators and musicians, called 'Mandela Day Shorts.'

This co-commission brings together a British and South African creative, one specialising in visual art or animation and one in music, to create an artwork between 90 seconds and 3 minutes in length.

'Vividism' is a collaboration between animator Konx-om-Pax (UK) and musician Spoek Mathambo (South Africa). Two additional works have been commissioned from Auntie Flo (UK), Esa Williams (UK), Kent Andreasen (South Africa) and Lebohang Kganye (South Africa).
