Since Karl died the entire Chanel line...from fashion, makeup, accessories and jewelry hasn’t been the same. He had a hand in everything...now it seems the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. That, plus the continuing price increases has turned me off. It’s truly a shame.

I think this collection was really meant for Autumn, it’s very warm and autumnal toned. The whole collection is available here in Australia and we will be going into Autumn soon. I got both palettes and I can’t lie to you Erin, they’re gorgeous.

I'm in Europe and you are right. The blush, highlighter duo is without doubt the star.

There are PLENTY Chanel shades that are released in the US that we don’t get in Europe and the UK. Sucks doesn’t it?!

I do totally agree with you, I still have not seen the quads in Italian stores (I was told they’re only available in Chanel boutiques, as well as the blush). I bought a few laques and I enjoyed them, the terra-cotta mascara is not my thing, whereas I do use the warm memories quad from the previous spring collection. Instead, I put my eyes on the Dior Sakura quint, which looks interesting and I got the new powder (forever) cushion. Thanks for your honest and wise words, Erin

I was really disappointed when I heard that the palettes weren’t coming to North America but it’s probably a blessing in disguise. These colors have been done a hundred times. Also, the fact that they subtly increased their lip products was just 😐 to me.

Thank you for the rant and review! I did end up purchasing the blush/highlighter as a present to myself.

I’m excited for the mascara! 🤗 I naturally have blonde eyelashes, so most every color shows up well on them.

From Australia here and yes we did get the whole collection but the colours are not unique however they are some of the most wearable and prettiest palettes that have been released 💕

ahh I was so dissapointed about the eyeshadow palettes also!! The blush is so beautiful though it definitely makes up for it!

I caved and ordered golden meadow from harrods. I would have ordered both if bouquet ambre had been in stock. Aside from the $30, shipping was great. The colors may look basic but they are amazing. It made me so happy, it was worth the extra money, for me.
I also ordered the metallic bloom nail polish (which the so bright and lively, not just shimmer red but copper and orange) and the rouge allure ink in Metallic copper (stunning! You have to try as a lip topper) from the US Chanel site.
It was the mood lift I’d been needing.

I adore the blush/highlighter palette. The highlighter really surprised me! 💗💗

I can honestly say that if you have the warm memories palette, you do not need the two new palettes, as all three are very similar. I also find that the colours are not very summary. Maybe they were due out in the autumn, but the launch somehow was delayed. To be fair, though, the blush/highlighter is splendid.

I have “warm memories” of how a proper collection launch should be🤣 I was prepared to buy all the pieces, but with this eyeshadow “scandal” I’m passing on it all. The idea of jumping through 3rd party hoops to purchase quads not readily available wouldn’t be fun or practical for me to recommend to others. I just bought the Coco Noir shower gel & body creme instead 😆
