Seems like a copout to say that UE5 is the problem. The game has many glitches and mesh holes that have persisted since ASE. Nothing was really fixed in ASA. ASA will not succeed until it has all the dinos, and maps that ASE offers. ASA feels like a downgrade to ASE in gameplay, for the sake of visual upgrades. All they did was split the playerbase with the launch of ASA only dropping the first maps. And adding pay to win dinos and bobs tales only further split players trust in the company.

No one asked for ASA they could of just left us with the game we had and continued on their merry way developing Ark 2. But because they got backlash about ark 2 and needed money they made us pay for a game we already had

Sucks that so many modders dropped their projects for Evolved in order to move them over to Ascended. I had so many maps I was excited to play on that have been abandoned halfway through. Sorry, maybe I'm not a "hardcore" enough gamer, but having to pay $600+ for a graphic card that can run this $40 game is absurd to me.

I really dont understand how people think Ase runs better than Asa. I played every single map on official servers on Ase and I would disconnect/crash so consistently I had devised routes and safe areas to use specifically so I could crash and not die. It was terrible and I lost hundreds of dinos and sets of gear to it. Now on Asa Ive only died 130 ish times total on official and almost none are due to crashing or disconnecting. Crashing and disconnecting was my absolute most hated thing in Evolved because its completely out of your control, you simply die or literally play long enough to predict the crashes.

Ark 2 is exclusive to gamepass for 1st 3 years even if it releases its an early access game

Their biggest problem is they are completely neglecting possibly their biggest fan base which is the pvp side. Ase is doing better because of the pvp not the pve side. If they start listening they would do better

My problem is that with the profits with ASE why couldn’t they have used that for A2? SG really messed it up.

Me and my friends personally do not care for ark 2 at all, we've played ASE on and off on PlayStation for years and i love mod support for ASA on console but we are on PC now as well but i still rather have Ark 2 be ditched in the dust or put on the shelves for wildcard to double down on fixing what ASA is missing, plus to my knowledge Ark 2 isn't planned to launch on PlayStation so with the negativity on ASA current state, how many people are truly wanting Ark 2 when you factor the PlayStation players out of that equation. Just double down on ASA and rev up that focus to get all the missing content into the game and snailgames need to fully support ASA at this rate though i don't know what other games snail games has published but i only care for ark so yeah just get the game where it needs to be and listen to your players for god sakes and give more feedback on how things are internally cause at this rate we might at well watch it all die both snailgames and wildcard.

UE5 tech itself is hard to run but when you combine that with ark's bad optimization, huge worlds with lot of buildings and dinos you get game what basically needs rtx 4070 or rx 7700 xt for good experience
