This isn't just TikTok, this is every phone app with access to your camera, biometric data, fingerprint sensor, data on your phone, location data (which can also be obtained from wifi and bluetooth), cookies, other app data, etc etc....check your app permissions and read the Terms of Use for your favorite app...many of them say right there in black and white that they sell your data to third party advertisers, and once they have it it's basically a commodity to be sold to the next company

If you're freaked about tiktok you don't want to know how much general websites know about you without even looking at you and how they can convince you to buy crap you don't need, or swing towards certain ideologies. Everyone has experienced what I’m about to say. So I know yall can relate…..
You ever talk about something then “ironically” your YT or any other application suddenly pulls up what you were talking about?

I noticed this when they came out with that “20 questions” device. Remember that?? I could say out loud what I was thinking, and it would absolutely guess it in 20 questions or less.
However, if I didn’t say a word, it almost never guessed right.

They’ve been at it for a while. And they are GOOD at it.
