Groceries and liquer in Jasper are more expensive, but you might get some great deals in local hiking gear shops.
With accomodation try walking in if there is no NO VACANCY sign, very often the staff is willing to accomodate you, so try bargain or room upgrade, ask to throw in breakfast vouchers etc, tell em it's your first time in Jasper

Went to Jasper once and loved it! One of these days I'll get back.

I also used Gypsy Guide at the time and that thing is so worth the money! I can't recommend it enough.

Heading back to Calgary, Banff and Jasper***. Rode the Rocky Mountaineer last year but could not do Jasper due to the wildfires. Got a hotel in Jasper booked and Maligne schedule.

Hi, Aly. I am a new subscriber and I love your videos. I am going to Jasper for the first time in August! I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the road and l location at the 6:29 of your video? It looks like a single-track road through the mountains with a snow-capped peak ahead. Thanks!

Thanks for informative video! We are planning our first trip to Jasper July, and I heard we need to book a shuttle because there is no parking inside Jasper. Do you know if this is true?

Aly. If i'm on a budget, and its my first time in the rockies, should i do both banff and jasper or stick to 1 park? Im thinking of visiting in September. I would go for 1 week

video would have been a lot better if you had at least given some idea about prices of hotels, food and parks and camp sites..in today's times, one needs to have a budget before starting on a trip....also i hear that jasper and banff are exorbitantly
