In this video we look at what to do when you can't just get a unique solution to your linear system by Gaussian Elimination and Back substitution. We introduce the Reduced Row Echelon Form and show how to get the general solution, or what happens if your system has no solutions

Lifesaver I say.

Teacher doesn't bother to organize classes. Only shows the steps, no reasoning alongside it. Such a simple concept, but so much context-specific variables, your help couldn't have made things easier for me, thank you very much.

Thanks for this video (as well as others!) I was really struggling with some terminology such as pivots and free variables with the short exposure I've been given and your video gives me a much better understanding. What would I do if I ended up with all zeros in the bottom row, equalling zero? I have that scenario in a question I have and I'm slightly confused.
