I don't mind Guilds, don't mind friends in game, but its MY escape, my game time, I get to choose what and when I want to do things :)

I have over 10k hours combined in Albion, Eso and Swtor and I've never played with friends. My friends play battle royales and shooters, they get bored with MMO's.

Is it fucked up if I enjoy NPC company more than real players.. I think this has to do with people just being shitty and sucky but some of us just aren’t social butterflies and the personalities of the NPC’s are better than anyone I ever meet irl

Video games were originally mostly for people who liked to stay in and not have many friends(aka losers). Times are changing but I still don’t really make friends and the flux of people getting into video games and MMOs is great! But most of us will continue to be alone almost 90% of the time

if you dont have friends you play an mmo to make friends and not to capsulate even more from Social by playing Offline games. But if you are fine of having no friends then good for you i advice you Pokemon Red. Nobody will judge you

I play eso alone because it’s the only current elder scrolls game. I’ve tried to partake in the social aspect and found it super toxic and people flakey they talk a big talk about playing and flake out. So I really stick to solo play and group up with random pugs and it’s fine.

You need multiple of character to fight boss that what mmo is for ...you cannot defeat mmo boss alone it have a million of health while you only have 300 hp one smack from mmo boss will kill you instantly that why the other characters will help to revive you when you die, the more characters over there the chances of survival is great...well after boss fight you can go your own marry ways or you can do farming with friends... friend mean only party in the game not in real life it help you leveling up fast or do quest really easy

My wife is my BFF...but I'm strange that way! ;)
I play all my mmos alone, as Mrs can't do 3D due to her eyesight. Mostly GW2, CoX, SWTOR, LOTRO, which are my goto mmos I always go back to. Have played a fair bit of BDO this year and TSW/SWL in the past. But I play just as many arpgs such as D3, Inquisitor:Martyr, PoE, Farmframe, etc, mostly D3 with the Mrs as she can handle iso games ok-ish. Don't do PvP (Psychopath v Psychopath :), so interacting with other players is limited to filler & the occasional grouping, usually when I'm forced to, eh. Did I mention I'm an only child...? ;)

So Sky, what's the next decent mmo worth trying/playing for us (mostly) solo carebears mate...? Tried BU over the weekend, uninstalled at level 5. NW looks meh. Crowfall not my cuppa. Really struggling to think of anything upcoming that even tickles my fancy :(.
