Thank you from Athens, Greece. Every year we loose thousands of refugees in the Aegean and Mediterranean waters trying to come to Europe. Women, children and men from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, African countries and many others. We need to build a memorial for these people to honor and remember them. Real events that the media will not include in their 8 o’ clock news. Last night 11 children and women were lost near by the Greek island of Kythira.

To The Last Internationale - Thank you.

There is nothing so painful as forgotten tears. Thanks for remembering.

If this doesn't break your heart or shed a tear, you don't have a heart, empathy or a conscience. May they all RIP and go to Heaven. Thank you for posting this video that shows a human tragedy turned into a humanitarian memorial. Blessings to you. RIP Woody Guthrie, your legend lives on.

I learned this song through Pete Seeger then Arlo Guthrie's version. I lived south of the citrus groves in Phoenix. I watched and listened to the folks who came to pick the groves. My eyes saw the injustices and my ears heard their songs. Later I moved to Northern Arizona and watched the Mexicans people come to work the flag stone quarries. They integrated well into the community. In the 25 years I lived there, it seems that these souls were working the jobs no one else doing it well. Now I am in Texas and the same holds true. NO WALL...let them in to work....treat them with the same respect as an American worker gets.

What an incredible version of this song. What a video project. Music is such a powerful means of communication/education.

Beautifully produced tribute to the victims of the 1948 Los Gatos Canyon plane wreck immortalized in Woody Guthrie’s song, “Deportees”.

This is the real deal... real life, and the poetry weaves into it. Love love love.
I cried, in a good way.

I LOVE the way yall've done Woody's song -- especially after Trump's comments. I wish the news media, after showing trumps comments about Mexicans, would show your video vision of Woody's song. I wish they'd make him watch it, and ask his opinion of Mexicans AFTER that. Keep it up. Even if it seems hopeless -- keep it up!

Sixty-five years later, Deportees continues to remain a contemporaneous statement of the times we are traveling through~So grateful for what you have done~Memorializing this event in history and the song that tells the story~For all of US to share. Thank you~A child who came of age in the 60's.

I first heard the song as a preteen, when Julie Felix sang it. It makes me cry to see that their names are on their headstone at last.

This is the best one of the "Deportee" performances I have heard.

I like this video. These beautiful artists in this video resurrected Woody Guthrie. The singer has a great voice.

Dear Last Internationale. I discovered your music recently through your brilliant cover of Buffy Saint-Marie's Codine. And now what a wonderful wonderful version of this great song by the master Woody. The film and the whole concept really reverberated with me. Your sincerity and humanity left a lump in my throat in these cold hearted times. Thank you from New Zealand.

I discovered you guys while at the gym a few days ago. Your Letterman performance was playing on a TV, and I had my iPod in, listening to some unrelated music. Just by seeing your energy and your passion, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I had to hear what you were singing, what you were so passionate about. I knew I'd like what I heard, but I never expected that I would be moved by your music. It takes a lot to bring out emotions in me, but this and The Ballad Of Trayvon Martin give me chills. These are beautiful songs because they come from the heart. Your songs are beautiful and empowering. I hope to see you guys perform live sometime in the future. :) Thank you

Gracias The Last Internacionale.
