You could give real life examples. There's always a difference between the "official" name in books and what people actually say. And as is real people we're trying to communicate with, it's the "street" version the one that counts. They'll understand me if I use the official name. Will I understand them when they don't? For example, do you say a tub of yoghurt or a pot of yoghurt? I doubt you say a container of yoghurt IRL. Thanks.
