1. If you are on versions prior to 1.2.0, i.e. 1.0-1.1.2, it seems that Link does not uncull after dropping the shield with fused control stick at 6:50, instead you get perman culled, I have test it on 1.1.2 and it´s true that you don´t get unculled, to avoid that from happeninng, there are two ways to deal with this:

Method 1: Do what @kvictor1931 has said, when you drop the apple, swap shield instead of drop the shield, then watch a memory, link to how it´s done

Method 2 (not recommended): after you are sent back to surface at 5:00, you should pick up the weapon and teleport to Rasitakiwak shrine (or any shrine near Tarry town) then come back and do the rest of the process (fuse the control stick to a shield, etc), also when you watch memory to drop the apple, you might need to watch more than 2 memories, just keep in mind after every watch, press B to exit the menu then enter the menu again. Finally, after you drop the shield with the control stick fused on it, you need to watch another memory, but this time Link will be unculled.


2. If after you mount on the control stick, and start falling, pressing B does not let you hop off, you can press X instead.

3. After you have done, if you want to cancel the state where you can not pick up items, do what @kvictor1931 wrote in the answers, "You can cancel it, by unholding all items, closing then reopening the menu, hold any item and close the menu again."

Let's appreciate the fact that the sign blocks the door from opening, but when you unblock it, the door opens outwards anyway. So it shouldn't have been blocked to begin with.

Anyone who wants to stop being "glitched" just stop holding the apple and the items you're duplicating. Then, hold any other 5 items(I did it with apples) and throw them on the ground. Finally, just pick them up again and that's it! You can play normally again. I apologize for my bad English

It took a while to get the darn steering stick to fuse, but it worked! Remember to park your horse about where it is in the video, and not too far forward, or you’ll be too close to it when the apple falls and it either won’t eat it, or it’ll move to another position and screw things up. I found that out the hard way. But before I somehow accidentally unglitched myself and stopped being able to dupe, it was working wonderfully.

I miss the old item dupe glitches that took less than 5 seconds. Nintendo are idiots for patching them out. Glitches are what keep Zelda games alive. I used item duping in my first playthrough, and i still played the game for hundreds of hours. There is literally no benefit for Nintendo to patch out the fun glitches.

Just confirming that this works! Took a lot of tries to get right, sort of like an old Mario game level, but finally did it!

I would note that one thing that tripped me up in the beginning was that I changed the button for Jump so I needed to press X when you said B and visa versa, but that's on me.

Great glitch! I'm assuming i just save and close to cancel out the glitch when I'm done? If not, can someone warn me?

To stop the glitch and play normally, save, close the game, open the game, and click continue to pick up glitch free. If you don’t, you won’t be able to use your weapons

The hardest part was getting the steering stick to fuse, but otherwise pretty simple to do. People are making a big deal about it taking a ton of steps, acting like Nintendo hasn't tried their best to make this not possible lol. I messed up, and ended up re-culling myself after I pressed ZL and X, I never pressed R until I landed, and then I had to completely close the game and reload it from an autosave that happened just as I entered Tarry Town, thankfully. Thanks man, this is a good one. Also, if people are having an issue with the fuseing, I'm not sure if this is why or not, but backing out of the menu using the minus button, instead of B worked for me.

Edit: The second time I tried this, I went over to my invisible apple, NOT my shield. Pick up the shield and destroy the fused item. DON'T GET THE APPLE.

Edit 2: mentioned how to stop the dupe glitch at the top for those who, like me, otherwise wouldn’t know.

Yknow, I still use Mineru to dupe. She may go against it, but wealth is wealth, She doesn't mind the upgrades when duping Lynel horns. Such an inefficient way to multiply gems and resources, and you call yourself a Hero of Hyrule, Shameful.
