Your head has a health bar. And it doesn’t recover.

The only way to improve your chin is does’t get hit, the more trauma your brain soffers the worse your chin gets, besides that there is nothing you can do

1. Be born with an iron chin
2. Chew gum everyday
3. Workout your neck muscle to absorb the shock

three things.

1. work out your neck (SAFELY- bridges are effective but the strain they put on your discs with downward pressure leads to issues later on).

2. get massive traps. they will naturally get bigger with neck work because they connect back and neck tissue. but doing shoulder and upper back work focusing on trap activation will make sure they are fully developed. the point of these first two is to be able to resist your head being snapped back or around when getting hit. at heavier weightclasses when way more power is being used, it's probably not going to be as effective and you should still be trying to AVOID being hit but still. it's helpful.

3. dont get hit. you dont condition your brain to take damage. you just take the least amount of damage possible, always. you can recover from the types of damage you accrue over time so take time off sparring and jarring exercises that incorporates jumping and bouncing every so often. your brain swells with damage (inflammation) and so giving it time NOT being bounced around your skull will allow it time needed to recover otherwise you are making yourself more and more susceptible to knockout because you're never letting the incremental inflammation from training and fighting heal.

Considering it’s boxing, you’re gonna get hit a few times and some will be hard. I’d say neck exercises with light weights are good.

I like to think of a chin similarly to a prince Rupert Drop. You can get hit a million times but as soon as it hits that tail you will never be the same

Only ways to get better at absorbing hits:
-don't get hit
-train your neck

1. Train neck and traps to absorb force better
2. Chew mastic gum to strengthen the muscles that keep the jaw in place (the mandible is the only bone in your skull that moves)
3. Take d3 and k2 for bone density
4. (Most important) avoid as many punches as possible

Speaking from experience don't ever let yourself get hit in the face
I used to do that to condition my chin and all it ended up doing was cause more brain damage

My coach always punished guys who ego spar and tried to beat everybody they see, to avoid brain problems in the future. Usually by humbling them himself with few hit to the body while egoist stands in very thick body protection (that's if egoist was significantly older/heavier than those who he beat) or giving them absurd amount of push ups/sit ups. Never ever anybody tried to hit others hard on the head or anywhere else if they was too young or light in bw.
