We all know that there isn't enough art being offered in schools, if any at all, but what are we going to do about it?

Whoooaa got my mind blown at the ending because of the realization that she had integrated all the elements in the creative thinkers tool box. Before, I was an amateur artist, but I regress into a rookie now. Thanks TEDx Talks for supporting that artist which only wants common good and a bright future for the students in her area. Now, I'm motivated to integrate all my knowledge as well as experiences in art.

Thank you. Very poignant and well put. Although shocking that at that level of education there are no art classes in elementary schools. Lets hope since this Ted talk by Laura Mack, that this has changed for those children and they are receiving a more creative education.

As long as art is relegated to some unnecessary second class or third, fifth, hundredth class thing, instead of being essential to the brain, and as important as math or science or any academic subject, minds will not develop to their awesome potential.

School never says they don't have time for science class. Art is more important than science. There is a divide in the society between art & science very unfortunate.

Art integration increased attendance in my elementary classroom. I’m all about art integration in all core subjects! I use my videos in a flipped classroom style delivery. 🎨👍🏻

How are the kids in her program doing after 4 - now 6 years doing? Are their grades higher than the others? Are there fewer behavioral problems with these kids vs. those that aren't?
