Neat. It looks like, with some intelligence and elbow grease, you managed to turn an okay purchase into a really great one. I don't know anything about wood stoves so I didn't realize how many parts they had. Knowing those details also makes for smart shopping when buying used. Good work!

To clean the glass on a woodstove door use a dampened paper towel and dip it in cold wood ash. Make sure the glass is cool to the touch and rub the paper towel on the glass until it's clean, it takes literally less than a minute. Then take a clean paper towel and wipe the residue off. Much cheaper and easier than store bought cleaners.

As a jewelry artist I find brass brushes second to none. Love these small wood stoves!

I would have never thought of a Polish paste. I just picked up a 100yr old gas stove from the first School house in my area, its in decent shape but hasnt bin used in many years. Going to get it fixed up and put in my outdoor cook shack. Thanx for sharing

I love refinishing older wood stoves. I have not yet used stove polish, but when I get the chance, now I will. I have always repainted them, but looking back, some of them probably didn't need it.

Wow! So impressive! I can't wait to do my stove and install it in my garden shed/dog kennel. Can't wait for the rest of the videos!! Now just need to figure out how to get the stove out from under 4 feet of snow and iced into the ground! Guess I need to wait until spring!
