DK Shivakumar, another contender for the top post, will be offered the deputy chief ministerial post, according to sources. He is expected to get important portfolios in the state Cabinet, sources added. Siddaramaiah's swearing-in is likely to take place on Thursday.

DKS deserve the CM chair for being Honest, he invited every raid protecting gujrat MLA's. Rejecting shah offer joining bjp he was put in jail. He has arranged funds for the elections. He is been in congress since day1. DKS deserve CM post today. Else, its a big demotivation for youth congress workers. Hardwork and sacrifices need to be rewarded. And this is the time.

Siddramaiah has already been a CM for 5years. He was denied CM post in JDS so he joined congress. He wants to be CM again, this is being self centric and greedy. Its his time to return back the favour for giving an outsider CM while keeping all the strong caliber congress people aside. He should think and demand. Siddramaiah should be thankful to the party for treating him so well. Siddramaiah can't arrange funds to the party.
