Roland Martin Takes DEMS To Task For Lack Of Minority Contractor Spending

Roland Martin, host of "NewsOne Now" took Democrats to task for spending little on minority contractors. According to PowerPAC+'s 2014 Fannie Lou Hamer Report, Democrats spent more than $500 million on political consultants. Out of that $500 million, DEMS spent less than 2% on minority contractors.

Roland, who are the minority contractors that were denied the big dollars? Furthermore, with the exception of a few minority firms, how many can play effectively on the big stage?  I'm sick of you and others always complaining about racial so-called inequalities. No one is stopping us from doing and achieving anything we want. We also have to be prepared and professional and it will be recognized. This perpetual narrow thinking is precisely why I left the democratic party 30 years ago. Your commentary only reinforces the idea that someone's always doing something to the minority community. Get over it and start promoting an independent, self-reliant discourse. Geez.
