My Favorite Laptop from Lenovo! // Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i

Overview and first look at the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i or Lenovo Slim Pro 9i as we call it here in North America. This laptop packs some really nice performance by using a custom Intel I9-13905H CPU and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. The best part is it also comes with a gorgeous 16" 16:10 Mini-LED display and a 165HZ refresh rate! This is my favourite laptop from Lenovo so far.

Great seeing more striking colours in laptops nowadays. That blue shade is striking, almost like the deep green on the Surface Pro 9.

The best part about new Nvidia RTX 40 series is that it performs better even in low TGP when compared to it's predecessor, and combining these new chips in this form factor is thumbs up from me. Hats off to Lenovo.

Looks very compelling on paper so far. Just wished there was another type-C port since everything is turning USB-C now & it's hard to work with just one port. Guess we'll just have to embrace the dongles again.

Speaking of dongles, it's good to see a full sized SD card, as many laptops just come with a microSD slot just for the sake of having one. Would love to see a speed test of the SD slot in the final review if possible Matt.

Thx for the quick overview. Laptop looks gorgeous and specs out superb, plus the cost looks very reasonable. Unfortunately -- seeing your reflections in some of the shots I can see the screen is super-shiney which is a deal-breaker for me. With a matte anti-reflective screen I would be sold.

Man this laptop already make my g14 look old even though it’s only 1 year old. The 14in looks quite compelling. For the 16in 75whr is way too small

Personally I prefer Black Keyboards like Macbooks. The backlit contrast better. It’s also why Apple doesn’t have a backlit keyboard with white keycaps
