after having symptoms that mimicked ALS, I have been sympathetic and more aware of this terrible disease. I have donated money and hope that there will someday be a cure to this terrible horrific disease that unfortunately kills many people each year in a sad sad way.

I'm interested in what the total amount of money was raised by the Ice Bucket Challenge and then how much money has been allocated and when, to whom and for what purpose please?

My brother-in-law was diagnosed 5 months ago. The deterioration is frightening. My fam is stepping up to take care of him in our home. I am trying to learn all that I can. The main issue is that he seems to be pushing through his work despite his deficits. I totally understand his drive to be independent. I feel he and the brothers are in denial about this diagnosis. Are there any support groups out there you would recommend? Thank you so much.

This might sound silly but try reaching out to Youtubers; (ex. Markiplier, Mini Ladd, and Game Grumps) to fund this. You'll have a better chance of getting more funds; honestly people aren't going to repeat the same challenge over and over. A Youtuber can raise ten times as much as than any fund raising event can. But you have my support <3
