Steve Madden Music was treated to an exclusive stripped-down session with roots rock sister duo, LARKIN POE.

Rebecca & Megan Lovell started making music back when they were five years old in their hometown of Atlanta, GA taking music lessons and singing in a church.

They formed a group and released music back when they were teenagers in 2005 along with their third sister as the Lovell Sisters until their disbandment in 2009.

In 2010, the duo regrouped as LARKIN POE, which was the name of the sisters' great-great-great-grandfather, who was a distant cousin of Edgar Allan Poe.

Love this - their interaction, the harmonies, the way the lapsteel guitar & the steel string acoustic guitar work together. Rebecca's got some fantastic vocal power there to be heard over Megan's guitar. The whole thing hangs together beautifully.

You know what makes this music so magical is the love you can just feel these sisters have for each other. Plus they are talented as Funk.
