I am usually afraid when the bands i love release stuff after a while, what if they're not as good as before or what if they have changed too much . Beachhouse somehow changed its style slighlty but remained Beachhouse. Listening to this on repeat soon.

This song holds a special meaning to me. My grandma’s first love died when he was only 18, and my grandma was 16. It was a tradition back then that when such youthful love is ruthlessly shattered by death, the girl must wear a wedding dress to the funeral. So she did. I can almost see her tears falling under the white veil. Hers truly is a heart that was meant to break.

Long-time Beach House fan, but I just listened to their newest album yesterday. This song was quite a ride and blew me away. Those dramatic stabs at 0:11, the dreamy moment at 2:18, the guitar playing the song out at 4:17, and everything in between. Beautiful song.
