Tokyo (Olympic games) 1964 archive footage

Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker who was in Japan in 1964 with the Soviet delegation at the Olympic Games of 1964 held in Tokyo.

It contains stock footage of sporting events during the Olympic Games: flags fluttering by the sea in Sagami Bay in Enoshima (Olympic flame, sailboats), the Olympic Stadium of Tokyo (javelin throw event, 100-meter dash, people sitting in the tribunes, women's long jump final monitor, 10,000 meters final, javelin throw award ceremony), the Soviet delegation leaving by ship at the Yokohama port, and the Japanese hostesses and stewards greeting them, and more.
