I had the pleasure to meet Kip and have a meaningful conversation about woodturning and life at a Craft Supplies Symposium a few years back, a great teacher, turner and genuine good person !
We are so lucky to get to see him still doing what he loves. Thank You, Kip and Rob .

I never thought I would see so much sandpaper being used in Rob Cosmans shop.

1st met Kip in 2007 at the "Desert Round Up" woodturning symposium Mesa, Arizona and several times afterwards at the Craft Supplies annual symposium in Provo, Utah and Totally Turning in Saratoga Springs, NY, always though of him as "The Gentleman Woodturner" because he's so well educated but always so polite, down to earth, easy to talk with and easy going, my wife still has a couple of his spinning tops he made at the Arizona Symposium that he gave her.

I haven't an interest in turning, but happy to watch and also donate to the PHP

Couldn't see what was going on in this presentation.

Just started turning on a mini lathe. Looking for a larger one.

If you’re buying a lathe for the first time what is the minimum swing we should be looking for. Is 14” enough to grow into?

Well, not as famous as Kip, but I will never forget seeing a side grain box that he had made many years ago, and the wood had not moved so the lid came smoothly off. I do think that if you do another video on turning, you need the over head camera and maybe a split screen, or go back and forth. You can't really see what he is doing.

What brand lathe is he using? That thing looks robust!
