I am so disappointed with i5 7500, imagine from i5 3570 gen 3 2012 to i5 7500 gen 7 2017 it's 5 year nothing changed. The benchmark result under my expectations because for my opinion use i5 7500 and use i5 3570 nothing different. Now i know why people change to ryzen

The i5-7500 was somehow the most common CPU on Jan 2020 new years according to the Steam Hardware survey. Now it's looking like for 2025 new years, it will be the 12400F. Honestly, going from an i5-7500, GTX 1060 6GB, and 2x8GB DDR4-2400 to an i5-12400F, RTX 3060 8GB, and 2x8GB DDR5-4800 will be a great upgrade even if it isnt the top of the line bleeding edge. Unless if Intel's 15th Gen i3 comes with 6 cores, then we would be able to get faster memory

I have an i5-7500cpu and a gtx 10603gb. My cpu is always on 100% cpu usage when playing fortnite or even Chrome games, and my gpu usage is lower. Any help

It's not like really really bad especially in less cpu intensive games but still not really good as you can see in battle field 5 and shadow of the tomb raider and rdr2 which are very cpu intensive games it's just barely handling the 2060 so a 1060 or 1650 super might be the better gpu to pair with the i5 7500

How TF that 7500 abled to hold that good against 12th gen ?? huge difference between IPC or could be processor architecture as when 7500 is hitting 80-90% 12400 is barely reaching 30%.

Так у тебя в тесте упор в GPU идёт, как ты можешь проводить сравнение i5 7500 с 12400? Между ними колоссальная разница, не только по fps, но и по загрузке CPU, снижай настройки графики до того момента, когда упора в GPU не будет и делай нормальный тест сравнения. А пока что, дизлайк.

Fps almost no difference when both running max out GPU power, mostly gaming, gpu still the primary source. Unless u comparing Igpu than newer CPU gen will definitely make a bigger impact. But if planning to upgrade GPU for gaming than no reason to waste money on new CPU, make no sense

Why not recommended, i have i5 7400, and i gonna use it for 3-4 more years. LOL no 7th gen i5 op, i changed from Athlon II X4 631, and i got big boost
